Description

There are several ways to reach Toreskjyrjka, the mountain between Kvitåvatn, Gaustablikk and Heddersvatn.

This is the moderate 3,6 km or approximately 1–1,5 hour hike (one way) that starts at Heddersvatn next to Stavsro.

Get here: Park the car at the road next to Stavsro at the northern part of Heddersvatn.

From here, follow the small path eastwards on the north side of the lake.

When you reach the valley, cross the small stream and take right.

The path from here up to Toreskykrja can be quite rocky, so watch your steps and keep an eye open for the small cairns – they are here to lead you to the top! From the top at 1371 metres above sea level you will get a wonderful view towards Gaustatoppen, Tuddal and the mountains south in Telemark.

Here you will also meet the more challenging path from Kvitåvatn.
